Linnea Kessler-Gowell CID, NCIDQ
Linnea is a principal and a licensed interior designer with more than 20 years of experience in interior architecture and furniture specifications for educational, commercial, and institutional environments. Formerly the Interior Designer in the Planning, Design and Construction group for The George Washington University, her goal is to design quality spaces for flexible working, learning, and living, keeping maintenance and costs in mind.
Linnea takes a creative approach to her projects to produce spaces where people want to spend their time. She works on a variety of projects, but she has a special interest in renovation and renewal. She enjoys seeing the potential in old spaces and activating them with new life so that people can feel comfortable and included. Known for her energetic and positive demeanor, Linnea has a talent for working with others and inspiring them to shine. In 2019, Linnea was honored with the firm’s Lex Schwartz Collaboration Award, in recognition of her leadership and collaborative nature.
