Allison Wilson AIA, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP

Allison Wilson believes the built environment should address the social, environmental, and economic realities of today’s world. As Ayers Saint Gross’ Sustainability Director and an architect, she supports high-performance building and planning objectives across the firm, leading a team of analysts that perform daylight and energy analysis to fuel metric-driven design principles. She works to integrate sustainability into campus master plans and served as the lead author of both the 2018 Texas A&M Sustainability Master Plan and the upcoming 2022 UCLA Sustainability Master Plan.
Allison approaches new projects with curiosity and is excited to learn about each client’s unique infrastructure, assets, goals, and priorities. From there, she enjoys educating her clients and helping them make positive changes in their practices to reduce resource consumption and advance toward carbon neutrality. Allison guides many projects through sustainable design certification programs, including the Living Building Challenge, LEED, SITES, and WELL.
Allison shares her expertise at speaking engagements across the country and works to elevate issues at the intersection of environmental stewardship and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Outside of the office, she is active in the ACE Mentor Program of Austin.
