Responding to a growing workforce and regional demand for health care professionals, Frostburg State University selected Ayers Saint Gross to design their new Education and Health Science Center. The interdisciplinary and wellness-centric building houses programs in nursing, health professions, kinesiology, recreation, and education. Promoting interprofessional education, the building provides hands-on, collaborative clinical learning where students apply critical thinking to learn about and communicate with other disciplines in a safe environment.

For more information on this building, read an article entitled Best Practices in Nursing School Design.
