Jack Black AIA, LEED AP
Jack Black is a vice president with more than 35 years of experience in all aspects of architecture, from planning to design and construction. Operating with a core belief that design should always solve a problem, he prides himself on working closely with his clients to find solutions that are individually tailored and transformative.
Through his extensive work in higher education, Jack has gained a deep understanding of colleges and universities, including their business practices and the challenges they face. With a goal of enduring design, Jack collaborates closely with client groups of all sizes to imagine the future. He loves helping campuses operate more smoothly and anticipate future needs to ultimately improve the student experience. Some of his favorite projects are those in which he has seen major transformations over many years, including Texas A&M University and the University of Arizona.
Jack is also passionate about building the profession of architecture, supporting his colleagues in their career growth, and helping his community. He is particularly proud to lead the Arizona office, which he has watched expand from only a few people to a team of 20.
