Doug Satteson AIA, CDT, LEED AP
An architect in the Baltimore office, Doug Satteson has worked on a number of mission-driven projects, mainly in the renovation of existing buildings. His projects have ranged from office fit-outs of warm dark shells in new buildings to adaptive reuse of historic buildings, integrating security, systems, and programs. Thanks to his extensive experience working with cultural and collections buildings, he has developed a deep understanding of museum operations and coordination, as well as the technical and environmental requirements for collection spaces.
As a project manager, Doug works with close attention to detail, budgets, coordination, and schedules, and he is skilled at carrying technically detailed plans through delivery. Passionate about sustainability, he prioritizes environmentally conscious decision making in all of his work. He finds it most rewarding to watch a design idea come to fruition, especially after a long and collaborative process.
