Alice Brooks AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Alice Brooks is a principal with more than 20 years of experience managing large-scale projects for higher education clients, ranging from academic facilities to student life projects. As a project manager, she enjoys building relationships with members of her team so she can find out their strengths and help them stretch their skillsets. She strives to create a partnership between her clients and team in order to deliver positive design results.
Alice finds fulfillment in transforming student life for the better. Some of her favorite projects include those completed at her alma mater Goucher College, including housing, a dining facility, and an interfaith center. Alice is also proud of the work she completed at Clemson University’s Douthit Hills Housing Development, which included villages for both first-year and upperclass students, a student union with a bookstore, residential and retail dining, and a fitness facility.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Alice is involved in recruiting efforts for the firm, working to attract and retain rising design talents. She has served as co-chair of the Equity in Architecture Committee, AIA Baltimore Chapter, and is part of the core JEDI committee for the firm. Her goal is for the faces of Ayers Saint Gross to reflect more closely the communities in which our clients and students live.
