Greg Overkamp AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP
Greg Overkamp is an associate principal and project manager whose work focuses on K-12 and higher education, with a specific emphasis on community colleges. A diligent leader, he works through all phases of design and construction to deliver memorable and unique educational projects. His skilled management of both financial impacts and project schedules has resulted in multiple long-lasting client relationships.
Greg believes that listening and responding to the client’s and the end user’s needs, goals, and aspirations is the key to a successful project. He finds it most rewarding to walk into a completed building and find educators and students enjoying the spaces. Some of his favorite projects include his work at Howard Community College and Whittle School in Washington, D.C.
Outside of the office, Greg plays tennis and soccer and is an avid skier. He helped found the Montgomery County Special Olympics tennis program and coached the Maryland state tennis team at the National Games in 2014. Passionate about the evolution of architecture education, he also volunteers as a NCARB test question reviewer and a NAAB visiting team accreditation member.
