Ayers Saint Gross is designing new mixed-use graduate and professional housing in Rice University’s emerging Ion innovation district. The first residential building to be developed in the Ion District, this building will feature apartment-style units above ground-floor retail and shared amenity space, connected to an active pedestrian-oriented streetscape. The project supports the university’s goals of creating a vibrant 24-hour district for interdisciplinary collaboration, while meeting the unique needs of graduate students.
