North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) is a cornerstone of Northwell Health and an immersive teaching hospital that provides a wide range of specialty and subspecialty residency programs, postgraduate training programs, and clinical fellowships. A robust engagement process with a diverse set of stakeholders led to the establishment of a bold, comprehensive vision to inform immediate and future decisions related to patient satisfaction and the wellbeing of those who visit and work on campus.

Paving the way for growth, the proposed short-term plan prioritizes initial hospital program needs, parking, and campus circulation improvements. Meanwhile, the long-term plan addresses multiple future scenarios and provides space to privatize all patient beds, more space for existing programs, and flexibility for inpatient growth and outpatient facilities.
