Ayers Saint Gross provided urban design and master planning services to develop a long-range framework for the development of a prominent brownfield site on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Called “the best site on the East Coast” by legendary developer James Rouse, the expansive site will be redeveloped into a five million GSF, mixed-use neighborhood of retail, office, housing, and hotels. An urban plaza forms the center of this retail environment, including space for ice skating, concerts, and festivals, and a park incorporates a continuous waterfront promenade, a band shell, athletic fields, and a cultural facility.
