The National Churchill Library and Leadership Center is the U.S. complement to England’s Churchill War Rooms and Chartwell House. Through its collections, interdisciplinary academic programs, and educational exhibits, the center provides students, faculty, researchers, and the public with the opportunity to examine the life and legacy of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The center’s entry features an all-glass storefront to promote openness and curiosity with large, borderless video monitors just inside the glass line. The bright, welcoming space accommodates up to 150 people who can view memorabilia and artifacts, conduct research, and participate in seminars, classes, and special events. The space offers a reading room, along with workspaces for curators and visiting scholars.
