Ayers Saint Gross Projects Honored by The Architect’s Newspaper
Two Ayers Saint Gross projects were honored in The Architect Newspaper’s 2025 Best of Design Awards, a prestigious awards program that recognizes the most impactful and innovative projects across many typologies around the globe. The Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden received an honorable mention in the category of cultural projects, while the National Aquarium Harbor Wetland received an honorable mention in the landscape architecture category.
Both of these projects are designed to connect visitors and users to nature and the world around them. The Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center uses biophilic design to blur the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors, while paying tribute to the Missouri Botanical Garden’s rich history and unique collections of plants. A free outdoor exhibit and civic anchor, Harbor Wetland serves as a natural oasis in Baltimore, allowing visitors to observe and learn about the many native species that call the Chesapeake Bay home.
These honors come only a few months after The Architect’s Newspaper recognized Ayers Saint Gross with a Best of Practice Award, highlighting our firm’s commitment to serving mission-driven clients around the world to create places for shared knowledge and culture.
