Beth Long brings nearly 35 years of experience focused in planning, design, and construction of capital and non-capital projects for higher education. Her foundation in architectural design allows her to think and design at multiple scales, develop insight into programmatic relationships, and understand building condition challenges. As a working architect for years, Elizabeth also understands how to design for implementation and how large scale design works to inform deeper dives into specific areas of focus. Elizabeth’s planning and design experience also includes working as a member of George Mason University’s facilities department. This experience provided her with a broad understanding of higher education projects and an ability to view issues from both the consultant and owner perspective.
