Dan McKelvey

Dan McKelvey is a principal with nearly 40 years of experience in all phases of architecture on college and university campuses. Because of his passion for best practices in the design and construction industry, he co-founded the Building Enclosure Council – Baltimore. The members of this organization meet about ten times a year to bring building professionals together to share ideas and experiences on building design and science. Members delve into the complexities of technical design and in doing so promote and encourage discussion, education, and technology exchange. Dan’s diligent, research-based architecture and QA/QC can be seen in projects such as the Rams Head Center at the University of North Carolina, the University of Baltimore’s John and Frances Angelos Law Center, Duke University’s School of Nursing, Johns Hopkins’ Nelson Harvey Building, and the Oxford Road Building at Emory University.
